Peachcraft aims to answer questions and fulfill the information needed of teenagers about topics including sex and gender, identity, and reproductive health that they are afraid to discuss with others due to stigmas and hostility. Users can read information about those subjects or have online interactions and talks with trained volunteers who can address their unanswered questions.

Subjects including identity, sex and gender, reproductive health, and relationships are often considered taboo to be acknowledged in Philippine society. Through the creative power of our company and the advocacy of other like-minded individuals, we will be able to create safe spaces for instructive conversations of these topics to take place. We envision a responsible community that prioritizes the health and wellbeing of the youth through the assistance of our services.

THE GOAL
GirlBoss aims to utilize modern technology and social media in establishing itself as a reputable and respected platform for educating Filipino teenagers issues surrounding sex and gender, health, sexuality, and relationships. We are striving to become a go-to source of information about sex education, an academic subject course that tackles the same scope Peachcraft has. We want to be the gateway for normalizing conversations about topics including young people’s identity, self-expression, and bodily developments.
BEHIND
THE
NAME
In different cultures, the peach fruit symbolizes different ideas. In Japanese culture it means truth; while in Western cultures it signifies youth, virtue, love, and fertility. Physically, the shape of the fruit is akin to a vulva or buttocks. Craft means activity involving particular skills; sometimes a craft is something needed to be learned on a more profound level. Combining these themes, we created a somewhat catchy yet meaningful “synonym” to the phrase ‘sex education’, which is the service Peachcraft is providing for its target market.
